On Saturday 17 March, a record 14 teams representing 6 BB
and 2 GB companies from North West Kent met at Gillingham Baptist
Church for the Annual
Junior Section Quiz Day.
The Bible quiz, based on passages from Exodus, Ephesians and
Genesis saw an
impressive score of 34.5 out of 40 for first time winners 1st
Frindsbury GB 'A', with 2nd Maidstone GB ‘A'
and 2nd Maidstone GB ‘B' completing a 1-2-3 clean sweep
for the Girls Brigade teams. Well done, girls!
The fun quiz was based on 6 rounds of questions on TV
themes, chart music, observation, sport, TV clips and general knowledge. Clear
winners for the third time were 2nd Strood BB ‘A' with
55 points out of 70 - congratulations to them. 2nd place went
to 1st Gillingham BB ‘B' with 1st Gillingham
BB ‘A' coming in third.
The date of next years quiz and the passges on which the
Bible quiz will be based will be e-mailed to leaders before the end of
September.
Finally, my thanks go to all staff for their help on the
day, especially Rachel Davey for her
technical support, Craig Davey for preparing the food and Ken Davey for
presenting the certificates and trophies.

Yes, Who needs Disneyland Paris or Florida when the Anchor Boys can have it at Minster.
The boys all dressed up in their favourite Disney characters took part in the things I (Cruella) Had laid on .First I needed all my 101 Dalmation Puppies, Along with this craft item we made Puppy dog chews,Chicken little Puppets, Mickey & Donald Duck book marks. We also made our own popcorn, The faces of the boys lit up when the popcorn came popping out of the machines. Then they sat down to a Disney film eating the popcorn .
We played games which carried the Disney theme. One of which was "Mickey Says " Naughty Mickey
(Dennis) Just could not get it right .
It was a successful event enjoyed by all who took part. 2nd Strood , 1st Maidstone, 1st Sittingbounre,
1st Gillingham , & 1st Minster.

Just a few details on the first Junior Fun Day at Honey Hill Camp Site. The Theme of the day is :
" STAR WARS" Boys will be required to dress up !
The day will start at 10-30 till 5 .
